Online Payments can be accepted until 12:00 pm ( midnight ) of the due day without incurring additional charges.
Our office is located on the first floor of the Town Office Building, 235 North Street. Handicap access is available via an outside ramp at the front of the building.
Payment Options:
You can pay by mail, or at the Treasurer/Collector office.
You can pay in person at our counter in the Town Office Building during our office hours. You can also drop off your tax payment anytime by using the drop-off box outside Building (No Cash); if using this method, please enclose your payment in an envelope along with the Collector’s copy of your tax bill. Payments dropped off after 4:00 pm on the due date, will be considered late and accrue interest charges.
For Your Information:
Real Estate/Personal Property Tax Bills are due quarterly; 8/1, 11/1, 2/1, 5/1. The bills are mailed at least thirty days before the due date. Typically, the 1st and 2nd quarter bills are estimated based on the prior year values and tax rate. The "actual" tax bill is due in the 3rd quarter after setting the tax rate.
