SPECIAL WASTE COLLECTION FOR PROPANE TANKS, TIRES, CAR BATTERIES, MERCURY THERMOMETERS/THERMOSTATS
Saturday, June 06, 2009: 9 a.m. – 12 noon
Richard Spindler DPW Complex – Chestnut Street
A small fee will be charged for the disposal of propane tanks and tires
Propane tanks: Camping size up to 19 lbs - $ 1.00 each
Regular 20 lbs - $ 3.00 each
Greater than 20 lbs - $ 20.00 each
Tires, cars - $ 2.50 each
Tires, truck (with or without rim) - $17.50 each
Car Batteries - No Charge
Fluorescent bulbs - No Charge
Mercury thermometers/thermostats - No Charge
Scrap metal - No Charge
The Compost Center will be open for leaves and grass clippings from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Please do not bring trash or household hazardous wastes to this event. Household Hazardous Waste is collected on a separate day, typically in September.
